Our NANO reactors can be successfully utilized in many  industries.  The Company's initial launch was in the cost effective and socially responsible method of producing biodiesel using our technology.  Subsequently, the Company has focused on additional technology applications through licensing agreements as opposed to production of equipment offering a far greater shareholder return.   Although the Company continues to manufacture and sell the BioForce 9000, it intends to only license other technology applications by intellectual property agreement.  Additional information on BioForce 9000 and Green D+ is listed blow along with some of the other specific technology uses:

Cavitation Technologies Inc., develops new cutting edge technologies currently for the biodiesel and vegetable oil degumming/refining industries and will continue to explore water treatment, petroleum, water-diesel emulsion, and chemical industries. We will strive to assist in meeting the new demands propelled by government mandates by licensing our technology and building strategic alliances globally. Our mission is to apply our technology in order to make the world better through renewable energy.

Water Sanitation

One of the major challenges facing mankind today is to provide clean water to a vast majority of the population around the world. The need for clean water is particularly critical in Third-World Countries. Rivers, canals, estuaries and other water-bodies are being constantly polluted due to indiscriminate discharge of industrial effluents as well as other anthropogenic activities and natural processes. In the latter, unknown geochemical processes have contaminated ground water with arsenic in many countries. Highly developed countries, such as the US, are also experiencing a critical need for wastewater cleaning because of an ever-increasing population, urbanization and climatic changes. The reuse of wastewater has become an absolute necessity.

There is an urgent need to develop innovative, more effective and inexpensive techniques for treatment of wastewater. Our patent pending process is designed to recycle water and waste materials while minimizing transportation and disposal costs and their associated liabilities. This system can be used to remove heavy metals, salts, and other contaminants derived from drilling natural gas wells. Our initial focus will be to reduce the salt content of Flow Back Water produced in the drilling of natural gas wells.

Potential benefits include low capital costs, low power requirements, no chemical additions, low maintenance, minimal operator attention, and ability to handle multi waste streams, consistent and reliable results, and the treatment of multiple contaminants. (Patents pending).

Water-Diesel Emulsion - HydorFuel

A focus is to employ our cavitation technology to mix and process fine water-in-oil emulsions that can be used in diesel engines and boilers.

Our HydorFuel™, Reactor Skid Systems will produce Hydrofuel, a water-diesel oil emulsion that has on- and off-road uses including public transport, waste collection, heavy duty transport, rail, earth moving equipment, boats, ships, and hydrofoils. It can be used by construction and agricultural equipment, stationary generators and boilers for civil heating and other purposes.

Our technology offers many advantages including increased fuel efficiency and reduced pollution. A 17%-20% water in diesel oil emulsion reduces fuel consumption by 12% in diesel engines. It also reduces NOx emissions by 40%, SO2 and hydrogen sulfide by 50%, and particulate matter (PM) by up to 50%. Unburned hydrocarbons are not detectable. Because the temperature of the exhaust gases is reduced by ~10 °C, thermal corrosion of engines is slowed down.

In boilers, a 12-15% water-diesel emulsion cuts consumption by 68% and reduces emission of NOx and sulfur dioxide by 40 and 50%, respectively, and that of hydrogen sulfide and unburned hydrocarbons by several times. With the more complete combustion, the cylinders and pistons stay free of tar and are less affected by wear. (Patents pending).

Crude Oil Yield Enhancement

Our C10 NANO Cavitation Reactor Skid System is designed to increase the yield of refining crude petroleum. For example, we have conducted tests whereby our cavitation technology was used to produce 5% to 15% more diesel and gasoline from the same barrel of crude oil at lower temperatures. The process may also produce a higher percentage of other “lighter ends” such as kerosene, jet fuel and other higher value hydrocarbon-based products. Our system could be used as a feed injector/mixer, which could be easily coupled to a fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) or any other refining facility to maximize the refinery's profitability.

In addition, we have also been able to improve the efficiency of refining crude petroleum as our technology has been used to increase API (American Petroleum Institute) gravity and reduce viscosity by up to 15%. The savings derive from the fact that it takes less energy to refine higher API petroleum.

Our technology helps preserve and improve the environment by reducing sulfur content and by using less petroleum oil. The process also raises the octane number and facilitates separation of water from petroleum. We are convinced that our systems can increase profitability by cutting refining costs, reducing energy costs by up to 10%, and increasing efficiencies. (Patents pending)

Blending Systems

There are a variety of blending applications ranging from biodiesel/diesel to ethanol/gasoline to water-oil. Blending is used to blend light with heavy crude oil in order to increase pipeline capacity. Industries such as Chemicals, Lubricants, Paints, Soap, Detergents, Personal Care, and Food & Beverages make extensive use of blending two or more ingredients.

Our Blend Plus+ Skid System is fully automated which allows the user to produce superior quality blends on demand with the touch of a button. CTI’s blending applications are continuous combining two or more products for a specific application during a standard flow process. The System contains the proprietary, patent pending, continuous flow, hydrodynamic NANO Reactor that contains no moving parts thereby reducing maintenance and operating costs. The unit can be held in your hand. The process increases shelf life and stability, decreases viscosity, and improves the cetane number and cold flow properties of the blend.

Our Blend Plus+ Skid System also applies to ships by offering on-board blending of diesel or bunker fuel with water. This solution offers an alternative to on-shore blending resulting in the elimination or drastic reduction in on-shore storage tanks and blending equipment (patents pending).

Extraction of Algae Oil

Our technology has removed oil from algae in preliminary testing. This is critical since algae oil may very well be critical in the next generation of feedstocks for biodiesel production.

Our technology relates to the disintegration of unicellular and multi-cellular algae microorganisms, to the release of oil and other cellular contents, and to the extraction of the ingredients/contents. NCT process relates to the sudden disintegration of unicellular and/or multi-cellular algal microorganisms and their intracellular organelles to release oil and other cell contents, while leaving the shell in tact. Our technology extracts the ingredients and utilizes cavitations’ implosion energy to break either reversibly or irreversibly the cells’ walls and/or membranes to release their biochemical contents. The shell can then be converted into more valuable products and will lead to significant savings and the application will have commercial capacity(Patents pending).
